visualizing the data from a bicycle race in which i competed in september 2006. each ellipse represents a sample of data taken at 1.26 second intervals. the ellipse diameter is determined by speed (large is fast), color by my heart rate (red is high), and opacity by power output in watts (opaque is high). i crashed at the end of the race, which is why the data ends abruptly.
